Executive Chef Christian Russell started his first job, and unbeknownst to him his career, at 15 years old washing dishes and he has never looked back. Christian graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with Honors and Awards and has worked his way through every position in the business and around the country (including 1 year as Chef in Japan) working at some of the notable establishments and with some of the country’s best Chefs.

During his time working as an Executive Chef in the Napa Valley Christian was recruited to work at the CIA Greystone campus and after being invited to cook at the James Beard House in NY the James Beard Foundation said he was one of the “most promising Chefs in the Napa Valley”. Today Christians friendly face has been part of the Portland culinary scene for over 12 years where he continues to deliver to be one of the most promising chefs in the area, a leader in the field, an educator, a friend, a creative force and a mentor for the next generation of culinary leaders.
